Box Score WATERLOO, Ont. - The Western Mustangs proved why their one of the best teams in the country by getting on the board early and not looking back. The Mustangs scored two touchdowns in the opening 5:20 of the game on route to a 69-3 victory. The football game was viewed by over 1,200 fans, parents, alumni, and staff on their annual Reunion weekend.
The Warriors, who have had a tough start to the season, were honouring their graduating seniors this game in front of their friends and families.

Eight Mustangs had touchdowns in Saturday's win as the team racked up 753 yards of total offence, while limiting the Warriors to 183 offensive yards. The biggest discrepancy in the game was the Mustangs 401 net yards rushing as compared to Waterloo's 46 yards.
Western opened the scoring early in the game, scoring on their first possession on a three-yard run from Yannick Harou. Warriors pivot
Jamie Cook (Collingwood) would throw an interception to start off the following drive and this would lead to a touchdown by George Johnson; putting the Warriors down 14-0 early in the game.
Western would add another major on a three-yard run from Garret Sanvido at the 8:39 mark of the first quarter to put the game out of reach early. The Warriors lone tally would come four minutes later as
Caleb Girard (Waterford) would hit an impressive 41-yard field goal to get Waterloo's only points of the game. Mustangs' Matt McDougall would add a TD late to run out the first quarter 28-3 for the purple and white.
Touchdowns would come later from Will Finch, Brian Marshall, Sanvido, Alex Taylor and Matt Brazier while Zach Medeiros added two field goals. The final score would be 69-3 in what was a lopsided contest.
Mike Dedys (Mississauga) and
Danny Silvestri (Waterloo) earned the Crimestoppers players-of-the-game for the Warriors. Dedys was the Warriors best receiver in gaining difficult yards, catching for 88 yards yards on the day while Silvestri rushed for tough yards on the day in a role as a quiet leader.
