Women's volleyball lose third straight in 3-0 loss to RMC

The Warriors lost their third straight match as they fell to the RMC Paladins 3-0 on Friday evening at the PAC gym.  Set scores were 25-14, 25-22, 25-21.

The Warriors could not generate an offensive flow in the match as RMC controlled much of the play thanks to a commanding 25-14 opening set victory to cruise to the 3-0 match win.

After opening the season 3-0, the Warriors have faltered in their last three games and now sit a 3-3 on the season tied with RMC, Guelph and McMaster for fifth place in the OUA.

Outside hitter Norah Collins (Cedar Valley, Ont.), was a force for the Paladins leading all players with 13 kills and 14 digs.  Middle Melissa McCoy (Kingston, Ont.) added to RMC's attack with 11 kills and two blocks for 13 points.

Leading the attack for Waterloo was rookie outside Natalia Kanda (Toronto/) who notched seven kills, nine digs and five blocks in the loss.  Another rookie in Natasha Spaling (Drayton/) chipped in with five kills and six blocks.

The Warriors look to get back in the win column as they face the Brock Badgers next Sunday in St. Catharines.  Game time is set for 1pm.
