Fourth year libero Katie Spack (Ottawa, Ont.) of the women’s volleyball team was a defensive star in both of Waterloo’s weekend victories over Windsor and Western with a total of 38 digs.  In Waterloo’s straight set victory over Windsor, Spack was stellar with 14 digs keeping her team in many rallies throughout the match.  Again on Saturday Spack was the player of the match with a staggering 24 digs as Waterloo took care of the fourth place Mustangs 3-1.  In 40 sets played Spack has 184 digs which puts her third best in the country at digs per set with 4.6.
