Kayla Wierts (Drayton, Ont.) had a tremendous opening weekend to start her final year with the women’s volleyball team.  Wierts put away 21 kills and had a .306 hitting efficiency while adding three aces, nine digs and six blocks two games at the PAC.  In all, Wierts finished with 27.5 points as the Warriors went 1-1 in games against tough OUA competition, Windsor and Western.
