University of Waterloo Athletics

Second year member of the women’s cross country team Kristen Marchant (Newmarket, Ont.) had an impressive showing at the CIS Championship finishing 19^th overall, the best Waterloo finish at nationals in over five years.  Marchant ran the 6km race in a time of 22.28 and was only nine seconds off of earning a spot on the all-Canadians list.
