Jacqui Rodrigues (Waterloo, Ont.) was instrumental this weekend in helping her team secure two victories over the Algoma Thunderbirds in lop-sided fashion. In an 85-51 victory on Friday evening, the 5’7” point guard was perfect from the field and beyond the arc to lead the way with 16 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. In Saturday’s equally impressive 72-39 victory, the Arts major scored 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists in 24 minutes of play. Rodrigues will be relied on heavily down the stretch in the playoff push for the Warriors.
