Stephanie Sluys (Clinton, Ont.), fresh off winning Waterloo, OUA, and CIS athlete-of-the-week, had another incredible weekend for the black and gold. Stephanie went 2-0 with a 6-0 win over UOIT and a 2-1 win over #2 OUA and #5 CIS ranked Queen’s Gaels. The Kinesiology standout had her shutout streak broken at 2:08:09 and posted a 0.50 GAA and .951 save percentage making 45 saves in the victories. Sluys has been an instrumental part of the Warriors current 4-game winning streak and will look to close out the pre-exam schedule on a winning note when they play cross town rival Laurier this Saturday night at 7:30pm at the Waterloo Rec Complex.
