Stephanie Sluys (Clinton, Ont.) was a brick wall in goal for the Warriors this weekend posting back-to-back shutouts in victories over Guelph and Brock. The Kinesiology major had 30 saves in a 1-0 win over Guelph on Thursday and posted 22 saves with a 3-0 victory over Brock on Saturday. The first year net minder has won three games this season, posting shutouts in each of those contests. Sluys was instrumental in snapping a 7-game losing streak and have put Waterloo back in the playoff hunt. Sluys was also named OUA/CIS athlete of the week
