Rookie defenceman Stephanie Digness (Aldergrove, B.C.) couldn’t have dreamt up a better debut to her Waterloo Warriors career.  The former Pacific Steeler notched a hat trick including the overtime winner in Waterloo’s come from behind 4-3 victory over the Windsor Lancers in their home opener on Saturday afternoon.  Digness followed up that performance with a strong game on the blue line with a +2 in Sunday’s 3-2 overtime loss to Western.
