Third year Kurt Thorner led his Warriors to a 2-0 weekend scoring two goals and adding three assists as Waterloo defeated Guelph 5-4 and Laurier 4-2 to improve to 3-1 on the young season.  The 6’0 winger of St. Thomas was a thorn in the side of his opponents all weekend long playing key roles for the Warriors on the power play and penalty kill.  Thorner sits tied for seventh in OUA scoring with seven points (3g, 4a) in four games played.
