Second year slotback Christian Mahler (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) put together a strong defensive game for the Warriors football squad in Monday’s loss to the Western Mustangs.  Mahler collected two interceptions including one that was brought back 23 yards for Waterloo’s only major of the game.  Mahler was also a potent factor in stopping Western’s run with four solo tackles and two assisted tackles.
