Lauren Wong is an alumni from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) where she played for 4 years earning a silver medal as a rookie in both the OUA and U SPORTS National Championship. She was also named rookie of the year - East division and claimed a spot on the all-rookie team. Additionally, Wong earned a second team all-star award in her second year.
In her 18U OVA career, Wong won the prestigious Evelyn Holick award as well as the Jason Senechal Memorial awards. Wong has been coaching for 7 years in the OVA and has been a certified referee since 2016. Her background from playing in the OVA, OUA, One Volleyball, and NACVIT league has taught her all around skill, technique, and strategy and enhanced her overall volleyball IQ.
