Ken Lubert

Ken enters his fifth season as assistant coach of the women's hockey program.  A Physical and Health Education teacher with the Waterloo Region District School Board, he has coached many different sports and has had a great deal of success bringing out the best in both male and female athletes.  Lubert has worked with teams at all age levels from Novice to Midget and skill levels ranging from House league to CIS and is Hockey Canada HP 1 certified. 

His teams have netted a collection of medals from the OWHA’s Provincial Championships and he is excited about bringing this winning attitude to Warrior Women’s Hockey. In addition to hockey, he has coached teams to medals at both the U15 and U19 levels respectively in the Ontario Women’s Lacrosse Association and and was named to the 2010 Coaching Staff of the Year by the Ontario Lacrosse Association. A graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University where he played football for the Golden Hawks. Lubert lives in Elmira, Ontario with his wife Marcia and daughters, Jessica and Jocelyn.
