University of Waterloo Athletics

This is Greg Simone's third season as assistant coach of the Warriors. He is coming back from head coaching on the beach this summer with Team Ontario 18U male program where the teams that he coached received a silver and a bronze medal at Beach Nationals.  This summer he also had the opportunity to work with Team Canada at the 19U Beach World Championships in China. 

Previously, Greg played four years of volleyball at the University of Windsor while completing his Bachelors of Human Kinetics and played his last year of eligibility at the University of Waterloo while starting his Masters. Greg recently graduated from Waterloo in April 2018 with his Masters of Recreation and Leisure Studies where he looked at the engagement of former OUA volleyball players participation in volleyball.
