Patrick started playing rugby in 2006 as a Tight Head Prop playing in Toronto and traveling to Navan, Ireland to play for a few months.

Patrick began his coaching in 2015 with the Toronto Saracens Rugby Club at the Junior level, winning two Provincial Club Championships in 15’s and one in 7’s. In 2017/2018 he coached at Upper Canada College for the Junior Varsity team and Toronto City U15’s.  Moving to Head Coach for the Saracens Senior Men’s team in 2018 to present.  Along with a season assistant coaching, at Seneca College in 2019.

Patrick has been coaching with Rugby Ontario since 2018, culminating in a win at the Eastern National Championship with the U18 team winning Gold in 2019.

Patrick did an immersive coaching internship in Stellenbosh, South Africa, for three months in 2019,  under Head Coach, Warren Peterson of the Stellenbosch Rugby Academy, now the Western Province Rugby Academy run by Francois du Toit.
