Biography
Kirt is a 5’11” 185lbs fwd from Winnipeg, MAN in his third season with the Warriors. Over the past two seasons Kirt has played 51 games and scored 10 goals and added 17 assists. Prior to joining the Warriors he played for the Lincoln Stars in the United States Hockey League (USHL) where he finished 6th in league scoring with 24 goals, 42 assists, and 112 PIMS in 56 games and was named team MVP. In the previous 4 seasons Kirt played in the WHL with Kelowna and Regina playing a total of 266 games scoring 37 goals, 47 assists and adding 332 PIMS. In 2008 Kirt was named the Regina Pats Humanitarian of the Year. Kirt also brings a wealth of championship experience having participated in the Memorial Cup in 2005 after winning the WHL championship as a member of the Kelowna Rockets and he won gold in 2005 at the World U17 championship. Kirt is studying in the Recreation and Leisure program.
