Sam Sabourin

    Strength & Conditioning Coach
Sam Sabourin makes the move from the University of Toronto where he served as an academic instructor in the faculty of kinesiology and physical education teaching the fundamental principles of fitness and exercise. 

Sabourin also spent a year working as the varsity strength and conditioning coach training the Varsity Blues athletes.  Additionally, Sabourin has trained professional athletes working with the Paragenix System facilitating programs for NFL, NHL, and NCAA athletes.

Sabourin also brings a wealth of football playing experience to the black and gold having competed four seasons with the Queen's Gaels with no shortage of accolades.  He collected the 2010 OUA rookie of the year award, was a three time OUA all-star and three time CIS all-Canadian.  He also competed in the 2013 CIS East-West Bowl and was listed in the CFL Scouting Bureau Top 10.


Sabourin also brings plenty of football coaching experience having led several different teams over the past five years.  Most recently Sabourin coached the Metro Toronto Wildcats, a competitive program in the Ontario Varsity Football League.  Additionally, Sabourin was a guest coach of the Queen's Gaels during winter and spring practices (2014) and led their youth camps from 2011-2013.
