Job Summary:	Reporting to the Communications and Game Day Coordinator, the Webcast Coordinator will be responsible for the following Setting up all webcast gear prior to varsity games for (M/W) Basketball, (M/W) Hockey, (M/W) Volleyball Test all equipment prior to the game starting: internet connection, camera connection, audio equipment, scoreboard/graphics, etc. Pressing go on the webcast and making sure everything live stream is working Work with commentators to ensure audio levels are good throughout broadcast Play advertisements during timeouts and halftime as the commentators go off-air Continue to monitor the stream throughout the game ensuring no buffering is occurring Troubleshoot technical issues as needed After the game clean up webcast gear and lock up in storage
Minimum Qualifications:	Student at the University of Waterloo looking to build their resume and experience in a sports setting Must have a strong technological aptitude and excellent problem-solving skills Experience working with live webcast/broadcast productions is an asset Experience working with vMix streaming software is an asset Strong understanding of sports and sports broadcast conventions is an asset Must have access to phone to communicate with the Coordinator throughout the broadcast Online University training required
