Job Summary:

Reporting to the Coordinator, Recreational Sport or their designate, they will monitor and offer support to users in the golf simulator during their assigned and/or selected shifts. They will interact regularly with the campus population, including other facility staff as well as other full-time student and permanent staff. Golf Simulator Attendants are expected to act as an ambassador for all Warrior Recreation programming both while working and throughout the entirety of their term.

This is a casual part-time 4-month contract working each academic term. Primary shift responsibility will be evenings with the option of some weekend work. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrive prepared and on time to all scheduled/requested shifts
• Launch the simulator software and settings based upon the request of the user
• Assist users with the operation of the software
• Manage the rental clubs inspecting them before and after us
• Always maintain an appropriate professional demeanor
• Act as an ambassador for Warrior Recreation
• Attend required training sessions
• Assist with any other general task that will benefit Warrior Recreation 

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Must be a Waterloo student 
• Knowledge of golf is considered an asset, but not required 
• Basic computer skills
