Position: Floor Supervisor/Personal Trainer
Remuneration: Floor Supervisor $17.20-$19.60 per hour based terms worked, Personal Trainer $23.60-$30.60 based on internal tier system
Reports to: Warrior Recreation, Conditioning Coordaintor

JOB DESCRIPTION
Personal Trainer Responsibilities
Supervision is the main responsibility of the position and involves watching over both the CIF and PAC gyms and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of our space for the members Personal Trainers are expected to use their knowledge and expertise to develop safe and effective workouts for clients in one-on-one settings, group settings and classes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a fitness facility
- Standard First Aid and CPR-C
- Personal Training Certification considered an asset
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Floor Supervisor Responsibilities
- Always have a walkie -talkie available for emergencies
- Complete cleaning duties for the shift
- Engage members and answer questions
- Record stats hourly
- Complete equipment and towel check hourly
- Record broken/damaged equipment in the maintenance log
- Enforce facility policies
- Sign out rental equipment
Personal Trainer Responsibilities
- Conduct a fitness assessment for clients to understand their strengths, areas for improvement, long-term and short-term goals.
- Design a safe and effective program that is fully tailored to the clients’ specifications.
- Provide personal training to the client to ensure proper form while providing education and motivation.
- Continually provide clients with new techniques to keep the client motivated and interested.
- Be conscious of previous injuries - consult resources for additional information on injuries if needed.
- Please note that clients are not to be trained during supervision shifts.
