Facility Associate (CIF & PAC)

Department: Athletics and Recreation
Position: Facility Associate (CIF & PAC)
Remuneration: $16.55- 19.95/hour
Expected Hours: 10-15/week
Reports to: CIF Building Coordinator (Rushon Dagleman) / PAC Building Coordinator (Bradd Smith)
 
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT OF ATHLETICS AND RECREATION

Energetic and reliable student staff are needed to work at the Customer Service Desks at the PAC and CIF, as well as the CIF Arena.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Customer service - programs and facility information
  • Safe setup and operation of equipment
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and safety
  • Provide security checks and key control access.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous customer service skills
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR C certification
  • Knowledge of athletics, including varsity, campus recreation, and facility information
  • Ability to enforce policies and procedures
  • A team player who is able to be self-motivated with little supervision

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Provide customer service to members
  • Enforce equipment and facility policies and procedures
  • Opening/closing the facility
  • Handling cash for concessions
  • Regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facility
  • Completing laundry
  • Commitment of two shifts a week
  • Attendance at all mandatory staff meetings and training sessions
