Biography

Steve is a 6’5” 215lb right shot defenceman from Petrolia, ON. Steve has played three seasons with the Warriors where he has played 90 games and earned 21goals, 45 assists, and 168 PIMS. After the 2009-10 season Steve was named an OUA 2nd Team All-Star. Prior to joining the Warriors, Whitely played four seasons in the OHL where he was a veteran of 273 games, and finished his career in Sarnia. In 2006-07 he was a member of the Plymouth Whalers and helped the team win an OHL championship and a berth in the Memorial Cup. Steve is studying in the Recreation and Leisure program.
