Biography

Chris is a 5’11” 185lbs left shot forward from Kelowna, BC in his fifth season with the Warriors. Over the past four years Chris has played 115 games and has earned 55 goals and 85 assists. In January 2011 Chris was an Assistant Captain on the bronze medal winning Team Canada at the World University Games in Erzurum, Turkey. In 2006-07 Chris was named a co-winner of the Jim Nickleson Award, which is awarded to the Warriors Rookie of the Year. For the past three seasons Chris has led the Warriors in scoring and has been voted the team MVP by his teammates. In 2008-09 Chris was voted an OUA 1st Team All-Star. After the 2009-10 season Chris was named a 1st team OUA All-Star and 2nd CIS All-Canadian. This season Chris was voted an OUA 1st Team All-Star and a 2nd Team All-Canadian. Chris has also earned Academic All-Canadian status in all four seasons. Prior to joining the Warriors Chris played four seasons with the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League where he played 309 games and earned 76 goals and 78 assists for 154 points and 182 PIMS.   While playing for the Rockets they won a Memorial Cup in 2004, a WHL Championship in 2005, and Chris captained the team in his final season. Chris has also attended three NHL camps (Tampa Bay, Vancouver, Phoenix). Chris is studying in the Environment and Business program.
