Nehita Oko-Oboh (Ottawa, ON) was perfect from the field and had perfect free throw shooting, scoring 10 points, while Jaimesen Newell (Brussels, ON) added six points, shooting with 75% accuracy. This offensive surge helped the Warriors narrow the gap, and by halftime, the Bold held just a slim 35-32 lead.
Into the third quarter of play, the high energy contest continued, with the Bold capitalizing on free throw opportunities to extend their lead. The Bold maintained their advantage despite the Warriors' determined efforts.
In the final stretch, the Warriors battled fiercely, applying intense defensive pressure. They forced quick turnovers and disrupted TMU's shooting rhythm, keeping possessions short and the game within reach. Despite Waterloo's efforts, the Bold managed to hold on and secure a 64-59 victory.
The Warriors look to bounce back as they hit the road again to face the Nipissing Lakers on November 29th in North Bay.
