The Warriors men's volleyball team traveled to Windsor to take on the Lancers in the OUA 5/4 Play In match and fell in straight sets. The Warriors gave Windsor a good battle in each set but could not pull out the win as their season came to an end.
Liam MacArthur (Cambridge, ON) led the Warriors attack with 13 kills and one block while
Bennett Newell (Brussels, ON/) had a solid game in his last match as a Warrior putting down seven kills while adding a block and two service aces.
Colm Guyn (Lethbridge, AB/), also playing in his last game as a Warrior finished with 18 assists on the night while adding seven digs.
Leading the Lancer attack was Luca Nastase who finished with a game high 16 kills while Sean Spencer had seven. Setter Anthony DeGiorolamo finished with 29 assists in the win.
"The Lancers are a strong team and I am proud of how were performed after a very strange and unique season," said Head Coach
Shayne White. "I would like to wish our seniors all the best as they move on to the next chapter of their life and thank them for everything they have done for our program. I look forward to a bit of downtime for our guys before we start to look ahead to our plans for next season."
