Taytum Clairmont (Waterloo/) was named a U SPORTS second-team All-Canadian at the All-Canadian Gala on Wednesday night.
Clairmont finished fifth in the country in scoring putting up 28 points scoring 11 times and adding 17 assists. Her 28 points led all OUA scorers making her the first Warrior to win the scoring title. Clairmont was key to Waterloo's special teams which ranked first in power play goals with 17 and had the best penalty kill in the country, operating at 96 percent.
Clairmont was named the U SPORTS Female Athlete of the Month in November, a month where she scored nine times and added five assists, leading her Warriors to a 6-3-1 record. She also scored a highlight reel, between the legs beauty on a breakaway that was featured on both Sportsnet and TSN.
