The Warriors dropped a tight game to the Brock Badgers, 73-66 as part of Fantastic Alumni Day on Saturday at the PAC.
Nedim Hodzic (Waterloo/Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary) led all scorers with 24 points, going 8-for-20 from the field and 8-for-9 from the line. He also haulded in seven rebounds in the game.
Justin Malnerich (Cambridge/St. Benedict's Catholic Secondary) was next best with 17 points, including four 3-pointers and added five rebounds.
Jayden Grewal (Oakville/Kings Christian Collegiate) and
Kuel Thomas (Kitchener/Huron Heights Secondary) rounded out Waterloo's offence with 11 and 10 points each.
The Warriors finished with a 32.8% field goal percentage while Brock shot 35.6%.
Next up for Waterloo is their final two regular season games, both at the PAC. First on Friday against Windsor followed by a Battle of Waterloo on Saturday. Both games are set for 8pm.
