Courtney Simpson (Sebringville/) picked up the helper on the goal.
Emma Pye (Oshawa/) made it 2-0 on a similar play, this time on the power play.
Brooklyn Sarnovsky (Courtice/) one-timed a point shot that Pye got a piece of to make it 2-0 Warriors after one.
Pye added her second of the game at 8:34 of the middle frame, once again deflecting home a Sarnovsky shot on the PP.
Laurier got one back early in the third but
Mikayla Schnarr (Waterloo/) and the Warriors shut the Hawks down the rest of the way to earn the 3-1 victory.
Waterloo will now be on home ice for their final four games of the season, starting this Saturday at 2:30pm against Guelph.
