Jadyen Grewal's best game as a Warrior wasn't enough as the Warriors dropped their first home game of 2020, 79-69 to the visiting Guelph Gryphons on Saturday afternoon at the PAC.
Grewal put up 24 points going 11-for-22 with two 3-pointers while
Nedim Hodzic (Waterloo/Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary) also had a stellar game with 25 points. Hodzic also added to his rebound total with 13 more. He is now fifth in the OUA in rebounds with 118 on the season.
David Ramon Prados (Madrid, Spain/Virgen de Atocha (North Platte College)) was the only other Warrior to reach double digits with 12 points on the day. He went 4-for-8 with two from downtown.
Guelph was led by Tommy Yanchus who was unstoppable in the game with 29 points. Keenan Dowell was also a factor for the visitors with 17 points.
Waterloo will return to the PAC this Wednesday for a battle with the Ryerson Rams. Tip-off is set for 8pm.
