The Warriors badminton earned a silver medal at the 2019 OUA Champioinship after falling to the mighty Toronto Varsity Blues in the gold medal match on Sunday afternoon in Oshawa.
Waterloo's men's doubles team of
Frankie Cao (Scarborough/) and
Aaron Hsu (North York/) came away with Waterloo's lone win in the gold medal match.
The Warriors got outstanding tournaments from Justin Law (West Hill/) and Angela Muyang Chen (Richmond Hill) who each won eight matches throughout the championship event. Hsu was the next best at six matches won while Cao, Jordi Lee and Belle Tuen each won five.Â
On the men's side Law was named an OUA all-star while from the women's team, Natalie Lam (Richmond Hill/) earned an all-star nod.
