The Warriors picked up a solid 0-0 draw against a formidable opponent, York Lions on a windy game at Warrior Field.
After 14 minutes of action, the game got called due to the storm as both teams went into the CIF to escape the fierce winds.
After returning to the field, both squads had several quality chances including an opportunity by the black and gold in the 90th minute but they could not put one past the York keeper.
Morgan Berg (Kitchener/) picked up her fifth clean sheet in just her seventh start stopping all five shots on target.
Waterloo is now 3-3-3 on the season, good for fourth in the OUA west while York is two points ahead with a record of 4-2-2.
The Warriors face another stiff test on Sunday as they battle the undefeated No. 9 Guelph Gryphons at 1pm on Warrior Field.Â
