Warriors drop pair of games in Nation's Capital

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Warriors dropped a pair of road games to the No. 1 Carleton Ravens and No. 8 Ottawa Gee Gees this past weekend.

On Friday, Ottawa shot an impressive 51.5% from the field compared to just 35.8% for the black and gold, to sink Waterloo 90-65. Waterloo was led by Simon Petrov (Waterloo/Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary) who had 22 points in the loss.

On Saturday, Waterloo took on the top team in the country, Carleton, falling by a score of 84-41. The Warriors just could not find their offensive stride against the pesky defenders of the Ravens. Nedim Hodzic (Waterloo/Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary) was Waterloo's top scorer with 13 points while Petrov had 10.

The Warriors will now look forward to returning to the PAC for a pair of games next weekend. First will be Ryerson on Friday followed by Toronto on Saturday, both 8pm starts.
