Box Score The Warriors men's volleyball team closed out their season with a dominating performance over the Trent Excalibur on Saturday.
With the win Waterloo finished the season, one game above .500 with a 9-8 record, good for fourth spot in the OUA west. The Warriors will now cross-over to take on the first place team in the east, the York Lions in the OUA quarter-finals.
Leading the way was
Braden Cok (Waterloo) with 11 kills and four blocks while
Kevin LeBreux (Cumberland) had six kills and three blocks. LeBreux was also a beast from the service line with an astounding seven service aces, giving him 30 on the year, the third most in the OUA.
Aidan Simone (London) was also in on the attack with nine kills while
Matthew Mawdsley (London) had a strong net game with five blocks.Â
Nikola Dimitrijevic (Mississauga) finished the game with 28 assists and seven digs.
Waterloo will now look to avenge their 3-1 loss to the Lions earlier in the season in the OUA quarter-finals. The match is set for 4pm on Saturday, March 4 and can be seen live on OUA.tv.Â
