It was a career night for a pair of Warriors on Thursday night at the CIF as fifth year forward

The Warriors got past the Laurentian Voyageurs 3-2 in a shootout to pick up their seventh win of the season and improve to 5-2-3-0. Their 19 points have them in a tie for fifth with Nipissing who they battle on Sunday in their final game of 2017.
Down 1-0 into the second period, Waterloo evened the score as

After the extra frames solved nothing the game went into a shootout with
Maryn Caragata (Etobicoke/) and
Sarah Rettinger (Kitchener/) giving their team a 2-0 lead.
Laurentian got one back before Sluys cut down the angle on the final shooter to give her squad the 3-2 shootout victory. Sluys was solid making 32 stops in the win while Laurentian's goalie Karen Collins was as busy with 34 stops in a strong losing effort.
