Box Score The Warriors men's volleyball team moved to 3-4 on the season with a straight set (23, 21, 21) victory over the Brock Badgers on Saturday night in St. Catharines. Â
After a tough 3-0 loss to the McMaster Marauders the night before, Waterloo bounced back with a solid road effort to head into the break on a winning note.
Braden Cok (Waterloo) and
Aidan Simone (London) did most of the damage with 14 and 12 kills respectively while
Jordan McConkey (Stratford)Â had three blocks to go along with five kills. Â
Kevin LeBreux (Cumberland) rounded out Waterloo's attack with nine kills. Â Setting up the Warriors was
Nikola Dimitrijevic (Mississauga)Â who collected 30 assists in the win.
Most of Brock's offence came from John Elgersma who led his team with 13 kills.
Waterloo will now prepare for their holiday tournament as they welcome Brandon, Dalhousie, and Ryerson to the PAC on December 29 to December 31. Â Waterloo resumes league play on January 14 against Brock at home.
