Squash team performs well in final tune-up before OUA Championship

This past weekend the Varsity Squash team competed in the Jester's West Sectionals at the Northfield Racquets and Fitness Club.

The men started the weekend strong with a 7-0 sweep against Laurier. The women were up next against MacMaster, but the competitors were tough and the Warriors fell 5-2. Natasha Seth (Fergus/) and Keeley Levitt (St. Catharines/) both won skillfully 3-0. Next, the men were in tough against Western and Cam Seth came out the only winner. Jeff Muirhead (Waterloo/) and Jeff Porter (Toronto/) both played spectacularly and took their opponents to 5 games.

On Sunday, the women had an early morning match against Western. Natasha Seth (Fergus/) and Keeley Levitt (St. Catharines/) championed the two wins, and Hannah Dabrowski (Waterloo/) stole a game from her opponent. The men then faced MacMaster and lost 6-1, with captain Cam Seth handily winning 3-0. The tournament finished up with the men beating Guelph 4-3.
