Warriors capture bronze, Seth siblings earn individual titles at OUA Championship

Cameron Seth captured the OUA individual title dropping only 1 set the entire Championship
The Warrior squash team captured the bronze medal in both the OUA Women's and Men's Squash Championships this past weekend at Western University. 
 
The tournament started off with pool play, both the men and women against McMaster. On the women's side, wins from Natasha Seth (Fergus/) (3-0), Keeley Levitt (St. Catharines/) (3-0) and Marisa Seth (Fergus/) (3-0) and on the men's side, a win from Cameron Seth (Fergus/) (3-0).
 
Next up, the women faced Queen's. Natasha Seth (Fergus/) (3-0), Marisa Seth (Fergus/) (3-1) and Hannah Dabrowski (Waterloo/) (3-0) were victorious bringing in points for the Warriors. The men followed with a strong performance against Toronto, with wins from Cameron Seth (Fergus/) (3-0), Jeff Muirhead (Waterloo/) (3-0) and a huge win from Andrew Kane (Waterloo/) (3-2). 
 
Day 2 was structured differently with players competing individually based on their performance on Day 1. Hannah Dabrowski (Waterloo/) and Andrew Kane (Waterloo/) were up first and lost their tough semi-final matches against Western. Jeff Muirhead (Waterloo/) and Marisa Seth (Fergus/) also had tough matches on Day 2 but ended with a strong 4th place within their division. Keeley Levitt (St. Catharines/) played well against the top-seeded Toronto but lost 3-1 in the semis. Natasha Seth (Fergus/) and Cameron Seth (Fergus/) both won their semi-final matches 3-0 to move onto the finals.
 
Jeff Porter (Toronto/), Hussein Salemwalla (Maple/), Diego Caballero (Bucamaranga/), Grace Leung (Markham/) and Simran Lyall (Nairobi/) won their consolation matches to place 5th overall in their division and adding points to the Warrior team score. The wins continued with Hannah Dabrowski (Waterloo/) coming back from 2-0 to win in 5 and Keeley Levitt (St. Catharines/) beating Western 3-1 to place third in their division.
 
In the finals, Natasha Seth (Fergus/) outplayed Toronto 3-0 to win the gold in her division. Cameron Seth (Fergus/) followed suit beating Western 3-1 in a spectacular match to win gold in his division. Cameron and Natasha were also named OUA MVPs and on the All-Star team. 
 
Overall, the points were tallied and the Warriors placed an outstanding bronze in both the men's and women's! The success didn't end there as head coach Vinit Kudva was named the OUA Men's Coach of the Year.
