Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 The Waterloo women's hockey team didn't exactly close out the season the way they hoped failing to score a goal in a pair of losses to Windsor (3-0) and Western (4-0) but if there is any silver lining they did so knowing they had already clinched a playoff spot. 

With a Brock loss on Friday, the black and gold secured the eighth and final playoff spot with an 8-11-5 record (21 points), one point ahead of the Badgers.  Waterloo will face the first place Guelph Gryphons who boast an impressive 21-3-0 record including 12 straight wins to close out the season.

The three game series gets underway Thursday in Guelph before the two teams hit the icefields on Saturday at 2:30pm.
