The Waterloo Warriors (3-5-3) blanked the Brock Badgers women's hockey team (0-6-2 OUA) Saturday afternoon at the Seymour-Hannah Centre. Stephanie Sluys (Clinton) was the difference in this one making 22 stops for the shutout.

The goal-scorers for Waterloo were Marissa Redmond (Ajax), Angela MacDonald (Kitchener) and Rebecca Rutherford (Ajax) who notched an empty-net powerplay goal in the dying minutes of the game. The victoryextends the winning streak for the black and gold to 2 games.

Stephanie Loukes suffered the loss for the Badgers, but played another strong game between the pipes making 28 saves. Brock finished the game 0-for-3 on the powerplay, while Waterloo was 1-for-5.
