The Waterloo field hockey team advanced to the OUA semifinals with a thrilling 5-4 win over the Queen's Gaels on Friday afternoon at York Stadium. 

The Warriors came back from deficits of 1-0 early and 3-2 at the half for the victory, advancing to the semis for the fourth straight year.
 
Queen's opened the scoring in the game in the 11^th minute on a goal by Caitlin Gordon (Richmond, B.C.), but Waterloo came back with goals by Lauren Aitchison (Oxshott) and Katie Hauck (Caledon) for the 2-1 lead. However, before the half Gordon scored her second and Lindsay Bjornson (Surrey, B.C.) added another to give the Gaels a one-goal lead at the break.
 
The Warriors opened the second with three straight goals to take the lead for good. Alana Raymond (Ajax) scored the tying marker in the 45^th minute.  Rounding out the scoring for Queen's was Amber Halcovitch (Apsley, Ont.) in the 66^th minute.

Nickole Levear earned the win between the pipes as Waterloo punched their ticket to tomorrow's semifinal against Toronto at 12pm.
