The Waterloo Warriors took the long trip north to Sudbury, came up short in the late stages of the game and lost to the host Laurentian Voyageurs 78-55.
The Warriors were down just 3 points with about a minute left in the third quarter, but got out-scored 30-10 to end the game and lose their fourth straight OUA league contest.
Mike Helsby (Waterloo/) led Waterloo scorers with 14 points, while
Kyrie Coleman (Washington/) added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Georges Serresse had a strong second half for Laurentian and had 22 points. Manny Pasquale added 19 points.

Greg Francis returned home to be with his wife in giving birth to their child. Assistant Coach Tarry Upshaw handled the head coach duties.
Waterloo travels south to Toronto to take on the York Lions on Saturday in search of their first win of the season.
