The Warriors dropped to 5-8 on the season following a 9-8 loss to the McMaster Marauders in extra innings at Bernie Arbour Stadium in Hamilton. Pitcher
Ben Tinklin (Kitchener/) took the loss while Thomas Rincon was credited with the win for McMaster.
The Warriors fell behind 4-0 early in the game but clawed their way back to take a 7-5 lead into the bottom of the seventh where McMaster chipped away with a run in the bottom of the eighth and two more in the ninth to send the game to extra innings tied at eight a piece. The Marauders would score in their half of the extra innings to earn the tight 9-8 victory.
Tinklin went 3-for-6 at the plate, leading both teams with 4 rbi's while
Mike Gatchene (Kitchener/) went 3-for-5 with three runs scored in the loss.

The Warriors improved to 7-9 on the season with a crucial 4-1 victory over the Brock Badgers to keep their playoff hopes alive on Monday night in St. Catharines.
Nolan Pettipiece (Burlington/) picked up the win for Waterloo in relief action while Badgers pitcher Paul McKenna was charged with the loss.
Adam Lentz (Calgary/) earned the save to solidify the Warrior win.
Tied 1-1 into the top half of the fifth, Waterloo would score a single run to take a 2-1 lead and add two more 1-run innings in the eighth and ninth to earn the 4-1 win.
Ben Tinklin (Kitchener/) continued his recent tear at the plate going 2-for-4 with two rbi's and one run scored.
Kevin Martin (Ottawa/) was also 2-for-4 at bat while
Drew Ballak (Kitchener/) was 1-for-3 scoring two runs in the process for the black and gold. Don Smith was the other Warrior to cross the plate to round out the visiting side scoring.
Waterloo is back at it again tomorrow night as they play a make-up game with the Toronto Varsity Blues at Jack Couch Park. First pitch is set for 7pm.
