Game Summary
The Warrior women's hockey team earned at least a point for the sixth straight game falling to the Western Mustangs 3-2 in overtime on Sunday afternoon at the CIF arena in Waterloo. Waterloo scored two late third period goals to earn a crucial point in the tight OUA standings.
The Warriors continue to find a way to claw their way back into games and earn at least a point. They have not lost in regulation since November 20.
Katherine Dillon (Oshawa, Ont.) scored the overtime winner 48 seconds into the extra frame for her team leading 14
th goal of the season. Dillon is second in OUA in goals scored and eighth in points with 22 on the season.
Casey Rosen (Toronto, Ont.) opened the scoring for the Mustangs midway through the second period before Dillon scored one of her two goals to give Western a 2-0 lead.
Waterloo responded late in the third period to send the game to overtime.
Ona Mezenberg (Owen Sound/) fired home her fourth goal of the season with only two minutes remaining in the game and
Kelly MacLean (St. George/) completed the comeback, notching her 11
th of the season with one second left to tie the game.

Martina Michaud (Etobicoke/) stopped 27 of 30 shots faced in the overtime loss while Kelly Campbell (St. Thomas, Ont.) was equally busy allowing only two goals on 29 shots for the Mustang win.
The Warriors are currently tied with Windsor for the sixth and final playoff spot with 20 points (8-8-4) and are in tough on Friday as they face the Laurier Golden Hawks (19-0-1) on the road.
