The Warriors fell to the Windsor Lancers by a score of 4-2 on Saturday afternoon in Waterloo.

The black and gold held a 2-1 lead early in the third period until Windsor's forward Candice Chevalier (Essex, Ont.) would score the natural hat trick (including an empty netter) to steal the victory away from the Warriors.

Rookie netminder Emma Meanor (Morell, Ont.) made 37 saves in the loss while Windsor goalie Jamie Tessier stopped 21 of 23 shots for the win.

Windsor opened the scoring with Brooke Ludolph (Chatham, Ont.) scoring her third of the season to give the Lancers a 1-0 lead heading into the second period.

Waterloo would even the score in the second as defenceman Sarah Endicott (Toronto, Ont.)  sniped her first of the year.  Jessica Tracey (Woodslee, Ont.) and Emma McMillan (Hastings, Ont.)would draw assists on the goal.

With the game tied in the third period, Sarah Wolfe (Waterloo, Ont.) gave Waterloo its first lead of the game with her first of the season.  The lead however would be short lived as Chevalier tied the game up five minutes later and then potted the game winner with two minutes remaining in the game to seal the victory.  Chevalier added an empty netter for the hat trick and her ninth goal of the season.

The Warriors fell to 4-19-2 on the season and look to get their graduating seniors a victory tomorrow in their final home game of the season.

The Warriors were shelled on Sunday afternoon in their final regular season home game of 2011 as the Western Mustangs defeated Waterloo 6-1.

Prior to the game, graduating senior players Elora Brenneman (Minesing, Ont.), Sarah McCorquodale (Embro, Ont.) and Karen Vanderhoek (Burlington, Ont.) were honoured for their dedication and commitment to the Waterloo Warriors.  Unfortunately for the seniors, Waterloo could not pick up the victory with the players donning the black and gold jersey for their final game at the CIF.

It was all Mustangs following an opening goal by Warriors forward Kelly Toms (Ennismore, Ont.) who scored only 2:40 into the game.  Brittany Buck (Etobicoke, Ont.) tied the game up late in the first period on the powerplay to send the game into the second period tied at one.

Western would score three second period goals to take a commanding 4-1 lead.  Goal scorers were Chantal Morais (Guelph, Ont.), Marianne Filson (Denfield, Ont.), and Katie Dillon (Oshawa, Ont.).

The Mustangs would get two third period goals from Buck, her second of the game, and Lindsay Gidomski (Mississauga, Ont.) to cruise to a 6-1 victory over the Warriors.

Waterloo play their final game of the season on Friday night (February 11) as they make the short trip to the Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex to face the Laurier Golden Hawks.
