The Waterloo offence sputtered in the third quarter, and Laurentian responded with a 10-0 run in the middle of the period to break open a close game. That was enough to gap the Warriors and Laurentian would go on to post an 83-72 road victory.

The Warriors had a good shooting first half, hitting 46% of shots, including 7 or 12 from long range. But Laurentian held a slim 47-44 lead at half time. Waterloo would tie the score twice early in the third before the shots stopped dropping. In the final period, Laurentian would lead by as much as 22 before Waterloo narrowed the gap in the closing minutes.

Georges Serresse led all scorers with 28 points for Laurentian, while Isiah Pasquale added 23. For the Warriors,
Cam McIntyre (Kitchener) led the way with 19 points, while Brendan Smith (Kamloops) had a double-double, hitting for 14 points and collecting 13 rebounds.

Waterloo completes the OUA West-East crossover portion of the schedule with games in Ottawa next weekend. The Friday night game will be at Carleton, with the Saturday night game against University of Ottawa.
