In terms of scoring it was the battle of the 9's. Queen's #9 Nikola Misljencevic led all scorers with 28 points, while Waterloo #9 Cam McIntyre (Kitchener) led the Warriors with 25 points. Queen's scoring was supported by 13 points for Ryan Golden and 10 points by Alex Weatherill.

Three other Warriors hit double figures with Melbourne hitting for a career high 16 points. Wayne Bridge (North York) added 13 and Mike Wright (Burlington) dazzled the crowd with his quick footwork en route to 10 points.
