The Warriors lost their fourth straight game as the no. 6 Brock Badgers doubled up on Waterloo 6-3 on Thursday night at the Seymour-Hannah Centre in St. Catharines.

The Badgers jumped out to a 5-0 lead through a period and a half before the Warriors got on the board late in the second period.

Brock senior Kelly Walker (Brampton, Ont.) added to her OUA scoring lead and moved three points closer to the Brock all-time scoring record as she added two goals and one assist for the three-point performance. She is now just two points shy of the Brock scoring record held by former All-Canadian and CIS Player of the Year Kate Allgood.

Senior Courtney Sutherland (Mount Forest, Ont.) contributed with a season high two goals. Also scoring for the Badgers were freshman Leigh Vanderveen (NOTL, Ont.) who tallied one goal and one assist and sophomore Hailey Webb (Orillia, Ont.) who added her first of the season. Senior Karolyn MacIlmoyle (Newmarket, Ont.) chipped in with three assists and rookie Jessica Fickel (Fort Erie, Ont.) added two helpers.

Waterloo's Mandy Harrop (Simcoe, Ont.), Ona Mezenberg (Owen Sound, Ont.) and Brittany Holland (Lisle, Ont.) all added single markers in the loss.

Brock goalie Kim Jory picked up the win, making 14 saves in what was her first career OUA start.  Martina Michaud (Etobicoke, Ont.) allowed six goals on 28 shots while Emma Meanor (Morell, Ont.) was perfect stopping all eleven shots faced in relief of Michaud.

Waterloo's next contest goes Sunday, January 30 on the road against the Guelph Gryphons.
