The Carleton Ravens out-rebounded and out-shot the Warriors en route to a 94-78 win over the Waterloo Warriors at the PAC on Saturday night. A margin of 12 on rebounds, many on the offensive end and over 50% shooting by the top team in the country is tough to beat.

The Warriors started the game with a 7-2 run, encouraged by the largest crowd in recent years. The Think Pink promotion brought out many fans in support of the Warriors and to support Department of Athletics effort in fund raising for breast cancer research. After the strong Waterloo start, Carleton went on a 18-5 run to take the lead for good.

Carleton had five players in double figures for scoring, led by Tyson Hinz with 23 and Phil Scrub with 19. Carleton also spread out the rebounding advantage with five players grabbing five or more rebounds.

For the Warriors, Cam McIntrye led all scorers with 27 points, including 12 in the third quarter. Tim Rossy (Winnipeg/Silver Heights) and Jordan Hannah (Kitchener/St. Mary's) both came off the bench to provide 16 and 12 points respectively. Waterloo hot shooting from the three point line continued with 9 of 17 shooting from long range.

With the win the Ravens remain unbeaten in Canada with a 4-0 record in OUA action and 11-0 against CIS competition this season. For Waterloo, they are now 2-2 in OUA play and 4-5 against CIS schools.

Next action for Waterloo will be Friday, November 19 in Toronto to visit the York Lions.
