John O'Brien is the head coach of the women’s soccer team and was born in Glasgow, Scotland. He began as head coach of the women's soccer program in 2013.
O'Brien is a player coach locally in the KW area and played youth soccer with KMS, the Oakville Soccer Club, and National Soccer League with the Toronto Jets before finishing in the KDSL. O'Brien is a graduate of Conestoga College, where he enjoyed soccer and was part of the all Ontario Team.
O’Brien has gone on to develop ‘the beautiful game’ with implementing KMS Grassroots and the WMS development program. O’Brien holds a Provincial B license with the Ontario Soccer Association as well as a UEFA A license.
