Rookie guard Marti Killeen (Oakville, Ont.) led Waterloo to their first win in over a year as they defeated the RMC Paladins 78-56 in their home opener on Friday night.  Killeen led all players with 20 points going 7-for-15 from the field and knocking down 5-of-8 from the line.  She also collected a game high nine rebounds in the win.  Killeen was one of eight women’s basketball players to donate eight inches of their hair to the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program as part of Waterloo’s Think Pink fund raising efforts.
